Falcon Valley Group Signs San Diego County Taxpayers Association
FVG will provide strategic communications counsel & services in a crucial election year
(San Diego) – The Falcon Valley Group (FVG), an independent public relations consulting practice, has been engaged to represent the San Diego County Taxpayers Association (SDCTA), a non-profit, non-partisan organization, dedicated to promoting accountable, cost-effective and efficient government and opposing unnecessary taxes and fees.
Founded in 1945, SDCTA is a watchdog organization that looks out for the taxpayer’s dollar, taking a leadership role in fiscal oversight of local government and aggressively resists unwarranted taxes and fees, discriminatory regulations and ill-advised public expenditures. SDCTA challenges local government at all levels to be accessible, responsive, efficient and fair.
Gayle Lynn Falkenthal, APR, President, says FVG will provide ongoing media and public relations support for the Taxpayers Association to increase visibility and awareness of SDCTA’s fiscal policy research and advocacy efforts, which have saved the region's taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.
“With critical elections looming and budget woes facing government at every level, it’s imperative that the Taxpayers Association maximize its outreach to taxpaying citizens and the elected officials and staff who make decisions on their behalf,” said Lani Lutar, President & CEO of the Association. “Gayle’s demonstrated communication skills, wide array of contacts and knowledge of the issues make her the ideal addition to our team,” said Lutar.
SDCTA is online at www.sdcta.org; on Twitter at @SDCTA; and on Facebook.
