Pension Reform Talks Continue
Business & taxpayer organizations working with city leaders
(San Diego) -- The Lincoln Club of San Diego County today confirmed that discussions continue among a wide range of San Diego leaders with the objective of placing meaningful pension reform on the ballot for consideration by city voters.
T.J. Zane, President & CEO of The Lincoln Club of San Diego County, said that leaders from the Lincoln Club and the San Diego County Taxpayers Association are continuing discussions about reforming San Diego’s pension system with city and civic leaders.
In commenting on the discussions, Zane said, “There is significant agreement on the substance of the reform and we expect to continue our dialogue over the next few days as we work to achieve consensus on language that provides safeguards and savings for the taxpayers of San Diego. “
