Melisa's Memorial 5K Walk and Fun Run is sponsored by Girard Securities, Inc. and Kaye and Richard Woltman in memory of their daughter, Melisa Reasner McGuire. She was a compassionate, caring person who lost her valiant battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in December of 2002.
“Be alive to what exists around you. Dream of change, set goals. Make your dreams become realities. Strive and persist. Succeed in making those dreams come true. Yet, throughout all those, always be happy, though never complacent, in and with the present. Appreciate the gifts you have now, for they are many. Now, go and change your world. You can. You only have to try.” – Melisa McGuire, at age 17 years old
